There are two scenarios, purchasing from an individual or from a dealer.
- From individual: Title, out of state inspection
- From dealer: Title, bill of sale, form showing that the dealer has collected taxes, out of state inspection (bring everything the dealer mails you.)

I paid my vehicle off and the bank said it was an E-title (electronic lien holder) - how do I get a paper title?
The owner/s will need to come into the title department with their photo ID and a replacement title will be printed for a fee of $16.00.
Can a minor (under the age of 18) purchase a vehicle?
Yes, as long as a biological parent/guardian (must provide original court papers) is present to sign a minor consent form. Both parties must have photo ID. If minor sells the vehicle before they turn 18, same rules apply.
