Participation forms are available at the Mercer Health website: https://mercer-health.com/services/wellness-and-occupational-health-services/wellness-challenges. Steps to Earning an HSA Incentive Contribution
Mercer County employees who meet the HSA eligibility regulations and participate in the wellness activities as outlined in the Program Guide can earn employer HSA contributions.
You must complete the requirements within each period. Many activities require you to submit forms to the health promotion coordinator at [email protected]. If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt, then follow-up with the coordinator.
Although Mercer County does not require an eligible employee to be employed at the time of the HSA distribution, you must have been actively employed on the last day of the program period.
What You Should Know
In accordance with HIPAA confidentiality laws, your individual data is accessible only to you, your health promotion coordinator, and the third-party vendor used for the wellness portal.
The number of wellness programs, program periods, and/or the length of the programs are subject to change each year.
The employer contribution and distribution dates will be set by the Board of Commissioners. For example, Period One ends March 31, eligible employees will receive an employer HSA contribution by the end of April.
