Mission Statement

The Commitment of the Mercer County Treasurer's Office is to serve the tax payers of the county in the most prompt, accurate, professional and courteous way possible.


Location

The Treasurer's Office, Room 201, is on the Second floor of the Courthouse on the east side of the south corridor. The Phone number is 419-586-2259 and the fax number is 419-586-4319.


Hours

  • Monday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday thru Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Staff

The Treasurers office has a staff of three full time employees:

  • Kathy A. Phillips, Deputy Clerk
  • Cheryl A. Black, Deputy Clerk
  • Dawn Hinton, Deputy Clerk

Several part time employees help at real estate tax collection time during the year.

TAX BILL DUE DATES

Real Estate

  • February 20th
  • July 20th

These bills are mailed within a month before the due date. Real Estate taxes are always paid a year behind. The office accepts checks and cash which can be mailed or brought to the office.

Manufactured Home

  • February 20th
  • July 20th

Personal Property

  • April
  • September

Sewer

Sewer Bills are now being collected at the Sewer Department Office in the Central Services Building.
